Kuningan, Indonesia - August 21, 2021 - Universitas Kuningan (Uniku), a long-term Binari client in higher education, has formally purchased a full license for SAKTI (Sistem Akademik Perguruan Tinggi), the custom-built academic information system Binari originally developed for the university. The purchase also gives Uniku the rights to modify and further develop the system on its own going forward.
The agreement replaces Uniku’s earlier cooperative arrangement with Binari with a full license held directly by the university. That gives Uniku’s Central Information Systems Bureau room to customize and extend the platform as the campus’s academic needs change, without going back to Binari for every adjustment.
Uniku Rector Dr. H. Dikdik Harjadi, S.E., M.Si. said the system has proven itself over years of daily use in the university’s academic services, and that acquiring the license and development rights was a natural next step after that track record. Hengky Mulyono, representing Binari as the system’s original developer, said the transition included hands-on training for Uniku’s information systems staff, so the university’s own team can handle future changes to SAKTI without relying on Binari for each one.
For Binari, it’s a familiar pattern with education clients: build the system, then leave the client able to run and extend it independently.
